This upcoming weekend Santa Monica is presenting the 2010 Beach Soccer Tournament. If you are visiting, live in Santa Monica or it’s surrounding cities, make your way this Saturday, March 13, 2010 and Sunday, March 14, 2010. Admission is completely free and this will be an all day event. Whether you like soccer or not there are many activities that everyone can enjoy, even if you are not participating in the event. Located just north of the Santa Monica Pier you will find a wide array of live music, food, games and vendors. There will be free clinics and exhibitions throughout the day. Weather is expected to be sunny, so come and tan while enjoying this event.
If you are interested in participating in this event, you can register through Copa Cabana. Registration is open to all clubs, recreational teams and adult teams. Team registration fees are expected to be anywhere from $290-$350/team. Last year’s event was extremely successful. Spectators from all over Southern California came out to participate and enjoy one of the world’s most famous sports. Both men and women teams from Southern California come to participate in this yearly event. Who will take hope the Copa Cabana trophy?
