Looking for a new place to take your family or hang out with friends in Santa Monica. In this beautiful summer weather head over to the Annenberg Community Beach House for a relaxing beach side day. This house was originally built in 1920 and belonged to Actress Marion Davies. In 1947, this house was purchase and was turned into a private club and hotel. 10 years later the main hotel was demolished, however the club area was preserved. In 1959, the State of California purchased this property and after the Northridge earthquake, this house was remolded and set ready for visitors to come and enjoy.
This house is located off Pacific Coast Highway just north of Montana Avenue. The exact address is 415 Pacific Coast Highway. You can visit the Beach House by bike or foot through the bike path along the Pacific Ocean. There is also ample parking however there is a cost ranging from $3-$8. No membership is required.
